Vocation Program
The Sisters of the Presentation welcome inquiries from women who feel called to serve the Church and the people of God by becoming a vowed woman religious. Step number one is to contact Sister Darlene Terry, PBVM, at dterry@pbvmsf.org or (415) 422-5017. She will help you get started on the discernment process by answering your questions and by explaining the steps necessary to become a Sister of the Presentation.
We usually accept women between the ages of 20 and 45 years of age. We do not wear a religious habit. Our Presentation ring and pin, worn by Presentation Sisters around the world, are our distinguishing symbols. The discernment process for becoming a Sister of the Presentation usually takes two to three years. The Formation Program Follows.
