This new event recognizes women who were either students or faculty

39th Annual Golf Tournament

Golfers enjoyed a great day of golf despite cloudy weather for
the Sisters of the Presentation 39th Annual Golf Tournament,
October 19, 2007.

With
nearly a full field of golfers, the day took place at the Crystal
Springs Golf Course in Burlingame.

The Tournament included the round of golf with lunch and then a tasty
buffet dinner.
Awards for longest drive, closest to the pin, and top foursome
were received at the dinner which also included a Silent Auction and a
benefit drawing.

Many thanks to our players, hole sponsors, prize donors, and other
donors for their this important financial support for the ministries and
needs of the Sisters of the Presentation.

Alumnae
Enjoy Magic Castle Event

Alumnae, family and friends had a magical day on Sunday, September 16,
2007, at the Magic Castle in Hollywood.
Guests enjoyed two magic shows, viewing exhibits and magic memorabilia,
as well as an
elaborate and delicious brunch buffet.

Due to the exclusive nature of the Castle, we were not able to take
photographs in the club, but here are photos we snapped as guests were
leaving.

Alumnae
Scholarship Winners Honored With Donors At Founders Club Tea

Founders Club donors and recipients of the Alumnae Scholarships for the
coming year were honored at the annual Founders Club Tea held at the
Presentation Motherhouse, Sunday, August 26.

Truly a “Presentation family” event, the significant donors and the
Alumnae Scholars both brought family members with them to share in the
honors and to meet one another.
Mike Gatto, a long time Presentation supporter, was honored as the
Founders Club 2007 Legacy Leader for his outstanding service to the
Sisters of the
Presentation.
As Sister Pam Chiesa, PBVM, President of the Sisters of the
Presentation, said “our donors are truly our partners in ministry and we
are very grateful for your support.”
In speaking of the Alumnae Scholarship winners, Sister Pam noted the
history of Nano Nagle as an educator and her important role in
preserving the Roman Catholic faith in Ireland.

“Our
scholarship winners,” said Sister Pam, “come from families who believe
in Catholic education and the
Presentation Alumnae are happy and proud to support these families.”
