Dear Friends and Supporters of Sisters of
the Presentation San Francisco, an easy and cost free way to contribute to the
Sisters' many charitable projects is to use
the search engine called GoodSearch.
Each time we use it to search, say,
instead ofGoogle, we earn 1¢ . Multiplying
that times each person who uses it, and times each time
that person uses it over a month or a year, the
total donation would be quite substantial.
The easiest and most convenient
way to use it, is to install the GoodSearch Toolbar
on your computer. Then it will always be right there
in your browser.
Then click on Download
Now, then download and save it on your computer where you can find it,
e.g. the Desktop.
Now double-click
goodsearchsetup(.exe) where you saved it, and
install.
When finished
with the install, you will have a toolbar like the
following picture, installed in your browser.
Next select your charity—us. Left-click on
My Charity1:
and you will see a window like
this, which will say—following
I’m supporting2—
"enter your charity here…3"
Type in
presentation4 as I have done, and click
Verify5.
The next window
will be this:
Left-click on us6
to highlight, and the window will
close, and your selection will remain unless you
change it.
You can stop here if you wish—you are basically
done.
An alternate
way, is to simply make a Favorite/Bookmark of
the site--http://www.goodsearch.com,
and go to this Favorite, when you want to
search. The drawback is that you will have to
select the charity each time. Either way you
will be helping. You will have our most
sincere gratitude.
